Big Feet, Little Shoes wins big!

Big Feet, Little Shoes debuted at the Four Seasons Short Film Challenge and boy did it go great for the team.

We won four awards: Best Story, Best Cinematography, Best Technical Elements, and Second Play overall. This was a great night for the team so I just want to make sure everyone gets a mention.
Tim Bechen wrote the original screenplay, Big Feet, Little Shoes. This screenplay was also named best screenplay for August and has made it to the finals for the IFP Phoenix, Scene Challenge for 2007. Congrats, Tim!
Webb Pickersgill was our Director of Photography and Editor. His skill and style helped us win each of these awards.
Tom Ronai and Enzo Treppa contributed their visual effects skills for a great ending.
Aaron Ginn-Forsberg, Shane Dean, Brittany Hall, and Shane Stevens all contributed wonderful performances and characters.
And then there was our crew. Without them nothing would have been seen: Julie Hoefflin, Eric Reid, JD Smith, Dana Skvarek II, and, my son, Andrew Bonnell (his first, but I don't think his last, film).
If you haven't seen Big Feet, Little Shoes, don't despair, we'll be bringing the entire world the adventures of Lutz and Balls, Paranormal Investigators early next year.

Good thing we informed IFP that your project BFLS was not an original story created solely for the contest.

We had that story under option in 2006. We've already informed IFP, and gave them info for our attorney.

BFLS was written as a 20 minute short originally in 2006. It had been optioned with a six month option. That option expired and the rights reverted back to the writer, Tim Bechen. It sat for approximately another six months. When the contest came up he rewrote it as a 3 minute short for the contest.

The implication that the screenplay was used illegally is poor form not to mention that the accusation was made anonymously.
