Day 1 and 2 of filming or how we lost a day and made it up again

We had a great weekend! It didn't start off great. Let's suffice it to say that we booked the first day's shoot at a local hotel; followed up with them every week for three weeks; and showed up only to be told that we needed to talk to media relations, it was the media relations guy's day off, and we'd have to talk to him Monday morning.

Needless to say we lost the entire day's shoot.

Quickly reacting we rescheduled with another hotel. Picked up a couple shots on Sunday in addition to what was already scheduled for Sunday. We're only about two scenes behind schedule.

It was a great day. That first day of filming when you see your actors, who you've put all your trust in, just flat out NAIL their roles. Not only did Aaron and Michael nail their roles, they brought them to life with their own unique quirks.

Don't let me forget Webb. Webb is our Director of Photography and owner of Baseline Digital and has done a fantastic job of interpreting my poorly communicated vision and turning it into a cinematic masterpiece... OK, a little prognosticating, but it does look damn good.

Photos will follow soon enough as we march on toward the final week of shooting.
